100 MoN – 100 Miles of Nowhere: the KZN Herd unique event; this is an indoor cycling challenge. Participants have to complete 100 Miles = 160km on a stationary bike. The event is hosted by Cadence Cycle studios, who have agreed to allow us to host it nationally and include their studios in KwaZulu-Natal, Johannesburg, Pretoria and Cape Town in 2016.
There are 3 different entry categories

2. 2-person team – two people complete the 160km/100miles on one stationary bike (they take turns on the bike to get the mileage completed) @R600 per rider
3. 4 person team – 4 people complete the 160km/100miles on one stationary bike (they take turns on the bike to get the mileage completed) @R350 per rider

Date: Friday, 24 June 2016
Time: 14:00 – 19:00 (15:00 start at Durban North)
All studios will start the day at the same time (14:00). This is to allow us to communicate between the studios and see how each studio is doing at any given time. Recognising that the event will finish at each studio at a different time based on the number of entries and the time taken for the mileage to be completed.
After the challenge has been completed each studio will host an “after-party” of light snacks and drinks to allow supporters to interact with the competitors and for the competitors to have some fun and relax in the afterglow of such an awesome achievement.
There will be inter-studio challenges throughout the course of the event; from fundraising to effort challenges.
There will be regular and continuous updates on social media allowing the studios and competitors to interact with each other and the public.
